The staccato piano part played by McCartney adds to the drama and grandeur of the song with Harrison putting in a strong vocal performance enhanced by McCartney's superb harmonies. Starr's drumming drives the song onwards towards its wonderful fading conclusion. It's so good it makes you want to weep...
