This is their most professional album. You can hear George is an amazing guitarist and Paul delivers one of his best bass playing and vocals. They all wanted to do a strong final album, quite a miracle after the tension of the Let it Be movie.

Let it Be was recorded before this, making Abbey Road The Beatles' final album technically. And man is it a good one, I mean Sgt. Pepper was great and I can live with it being top spot, however this was just as great. You have to have this at least top 2. Without Abbey Road, you wouldn't have great songs like Here Comes the Sun, Something, Come Together. I love this album so much...if only the band didn't absolutely hate each other maybe they would've been around today.

Stunning music. The suite of songs on side 2 seems like it is only now being fully appreciated 50 years later. This album has everything. The instruments sound perfect, the melodies are perfect and the harmonies are fascinating, and the medley that goes from "You Never Give Me Your Money" to the end of the album is one of the greatest pieces of music I've ever heard. This was the first album I ever really loved and it is the reason I love music.

I love Sgt. pepper but once you start listing to the first song you don't stop. There is no songs I hate at all. I think all the songs go well. Yeah Sgt. pepper had Ringo and George best songs but there is something that make this album a classic. This album is my 2 favorite, number 1 is dark side of the moon.
