Everything works here. While Led Zeppelin tried the folk/rock mix on their last album with somewhat inconsistent results, the blend here is smooth and gorgeous. The band found the perfect balance between hard rock, blues, metal and folk here, which spawned 7 of the best songs of all time, along with 1 great. It deserves the #1 place, or at least to be over Sgt. Pepper's.
