Been there several times and the bad rap is exaggerated. There are parts of the city where you don't want to go night time but that's the same with a lot of cities even smaller ones. It's not beautiful, but cozy. And there are a lot of creative designers, musicians, good shopping, great food from all over the world. In the central parts, there is a "bohemian" neighborhood which is multicultural, young, cool and I would say rather safe to go even at night. - ChatonNoir

A lot of immigrants aka "youth" in this city in Sk?ne, it's a real shame. Malm? used to be a great city but ever since the social-democrats and moderates decided to enrich it it's been crap. Here in Sweden you always hear it mentioned when talking about crime, immigration and violence. I recommend everyone to keep away from this hell hole of a city. And to my fellow Swedes I recommend voting for a party that actually cares about the Swedes and not just about the "Newswedes" next election, or you'll have yourself to blame when it spreads to your town.

So if you have the least regard for your life, do not even come close to Malm?!

I've lived in this city all my life and my opinion is that malmo should be at least top3 on the list I live in the nicest area in malmo and I've even seen someone getting stabbed in the throat in one of the so called "best" schools in the city,someone blowing up a car and a handgrenade blowing up very close to my home so number 10 is not a very accurate place on this list

It's not because of Immigrants!, It's because of government giving asylum to anyone who came to Sweden for what ever reason!, US and Canada has more immigrants than Sweden but no issue like any immigrant are bad or useless!

I was born and raised in Malm?. I have two teenage kids that I fought very hard to keep out of trouble their whole childhood living in Sofielund (nor as bad as Roseng?rd but getting there! ). I made it. Now I have a 3 year old. I have 3 more years to find a place outside this city because this time I really think that there is no way to keep your child from harms way now! show more comments darr;
