I live here in West Virginia.. This has to be the most useless toxic wasteland anyone can live in.. I would rather live in Siberia at least there people have a sense of pride. Nothing here but trees as far as the eye can see.. Nothing to do.. So many overweight individuals living here that don't care about their health.. No jobs here poorest economy.. Cold frigid winters and horrid hot summers... Not to mention when you tell people you're from here they assume you're a hillbilly with no sense, no teeth and no interest in a civilized environment... THIS IS THE WORST STATE TO LIVE IN... It is a wasteland West Virginia may seem like nothing important but every state has a story but West Virginia is actually nice:) it may be a little bit boring at times but at least you don't have to worry about people killing or kidnapping someone, everyone knows everyone, has anyone ever watched October Sky? It's a good movie I've seen the movie, its really good. - Catacorn West virginia may not be the best place to look for a job or raise kids but at least they aren't stuck up like all of the kids who are raised in the city whose parents never taught them how to care for anyone else but themselves. West virginia is full of history a a beautiful forest filled state that I am at least I can say I am proud of coming from because I'm a nice person - Billygoat666

I went to West Virginia before and it was a big mistake. I could not find a single grocery store anywhere and at 9pm it was pitch black in the state with no lights on. And the only way the state earned there money was by taking 5 bucks from you every road you drive down. that's right lots and lots of polls. And no cars in sight at all when I was driving down the road. It was really weird that I didn't see any house lights on or cars in there driveways I was just wondering where everyone was? - 17musyznskin

Just a bunch of cannibalistic inbred hicks in West Virginia... Nothing strange about that... Also WHY is Texas number 14?! Texas is a great state. It's one of the best states to live in! Huge land, many landmarks, and home of Cowboys (not the football team but equally as awesome) but some advice Texas is awesome West Virginia is some wooded disgusting area which the people's hobbies are inbreeding and killing people.

Stuck here for now, nothing to do, can't really do anything. Drug deals everywhere in plain sight yet no law enforcement, most people are rude with no concern for other people, lots of poverty, lots of waste, lots of chemicals, not many jobs. No amusement parks other than Camden which isn't much, and a ton of old buildings that are rotting away and no one will tear them down.

This state is pretty boring no offense. I'm doing a report on it and the most I can get out of t is 2 and a half pages and that is with pictures and double space. there are no good sports teams, only one sorta famous person, and the third most famous person is a murderer which I think says a lot about the state.
