By far the most interesting and violent superhero of all time. Not only that, but perhaps the most influential when you consider all of the wolverine knockoffs that followed over the years (Lobo, Deadpool, Cable, every image comics character, etc...) Not just that, but popularity wise, he's still more popular than Iron Man, Hulk, and Superman. Don't believe me? Just look at all of the X-Men, Wolverine books, or anything that he's guest starred in. All became huge sellers, and let's not forget that he's always been the premier vs guy in the marvel universe. He should be in the top 3 of this list, but the movies don't do him any justice because if they followed his character by how he's done in the comics, then everybody would say that he's the best superhero they'd ever seen. Wolverine always ready to die for others... He passes a gold heart... He died so many times only for protecting other... Others superhero just talk can you die for others and wearing a shield like armour carrying a shield just for protect own self... But wolverine never wore any armour... He always says attack is best diffence.. He take attacks on him to protect others... He don't need any shield or many people's to stand for good... I think he deserve 3rd ranking after sm Bm sm...

Out of any other superhero, Wolverine definitely has the best character development, at least in the X-Men franchise. His entire life story is just pure gold. He has a lot of spotlight comics and almost all of them are flat-out entertaining to the fullest. Not to mention he's badass and virtually unkillable. Wolverine has the most swag than any other superhero. Nobody can best his style and honestly I think he can beat Hulk, Superman, and Thor just because of his adamantium claws which can cut anything. Wolverine is one excellently crafted superheroes of all time and by far my favorite. The story of how James Howlett becomes wolverine is the best superhero story ever. Not to mention his healing powers, Adamantium claws and he beat other superheroes like hulk, iron man, deadpool, and spider man. Bottom line, Wolverine is amazing.
