USUK not only has helped me like history even more then I did before, but the fanfictions and doujinshi from it have taught me various historical things as well. USUK will always have a special place in my heart because it's the second Yaoi pairing I ever liked. America and England are both extremely attractive in their own right and have an underlying tension that I feel is best desrcibed as my history teacher put it; "The American Revolutionary war was just a break up between lovers. I must say USUK is the most fitting pairing I have seen yet.
