Brown sugar an cinnamon became a pantry staple in our house! Coming foe a single parent (mom), single child home that was lower class for some of the time. My mom and I had to "agree" on things we purchased from the grocery store so we could better budget money! She would grab them on the way to work and I on the way to school... Now I am a 38 year old father myself with 3 children of my own that are 9,12, 14 yrs old, and the brown sugar and cinnamon tradition lives on! My wife on the other hand does like pop tarts so she complains that the kids and I take up a complete shelf for the display of the legendary Pop-tarts!
