One simply does not defeat Ganondorf. And imagine what would happen if Link didn't exist. Hyrule would be screwed. He's pretty evil. There are villains who cause more destruction, but if we're looking for the villain who has the most all caps EVIL in his heart, it has to be Ganondorf. He doesn't seem to want to rule the world, he just wants the destruction that comes with taking it over again and again and again. In fact, I bet he loses on purpose so that he can come back and destroy the world again in the next game!

Ganon deserves to be #1 because he is the incarnation of the ultimate evil personified. Bowser HAS helped Mario at some point and is more comical than anything and goes against the original parameters of the rules. This list makes zero sense and seems like it's based more off of biased love than actual fact.
