As others have pointed out, Gumi has a beautiful voice, which sounds the most human out of all Vocaloids. Also, although she does not have a lot of popular songs, most of them are ones that I can relate to, and find myself listening to everyday. Rin, Len, and Miku are all extremely popular (possibly due to advertisement and appearance), but Gumi is honestly the most realistic: her voice is not too high pitched, and she's not stuck as an adolescent for the rest of her life.

Honestly I prefer Gumi over any Vocaloid. I haven't been a Vocaloid fan for very long, but I'm more drawn to songs that have her singing than any other song. Sure, other Vocaloid songs are good, but I just like Gumi better. It really sounds human, and maybe that's because she's voiced BY a human instead of just made from a robot. That's just my understanding (still a new fan.)

I'm not even otakku. I'm actually metalhead and more to NWOHM enthusiast (a fan of Trivium, Angel Vivaldi, and Oceans Ate Alaska), but also like EDM too. When I hear Monster, Crystalline, and Machine Gun (I like Cillia remix more ) I can't expect that this is like it want to bend reality and boundary, also her style are unique.

Gumi to me is like a real person, because of her voice and in her songs she has sung about a lot of problems that people in our reality face and she always sings about different experiences.She is kind of like like a friend to me and to me when she sings you can feel the emotions she is singing about and it almost feels like she is by your side sometimes.She is also my favorite Vocaloid!

She has got the most realistic voice out of all these "amazing" vocaloids like rin + len and miku. They are loved for being cute. THe underrated vocaloids always have the nicer voices. Vocaloids like IA, SeeU and Gumi only have one song that everyone listens to! They need much more attention then these over advertised squeakyoids.

GUMI is the only vocaloid that I can listen to a solo song of and not rip my head off. Honestly, what's with the stupid, robotic, high-picthed voices of the other vocaloids. The best part is, GUMI levels out the annoying voice of every other vocaloid (besides galaco, who sound more human than GUMI) in colab song, so what's not to love about GUMI.
