I love dogs so much! But I think pugs are so overrated. Everyone seems to love them. I find them a bit ugly to be honest. I had a bad experience with one though... I was on holiday in Spain and one was barking at me really badly... I guess I was about six at the time so it really scared me... I think the most underrated dog is a Weimaraner. They are beautiful. I had one that was 13 but sadly Louis had to be put down because he was ill...Also, all you people who think you have Jack Russells probably don't. Jack Russell Terriers are ones with long legs, and the small fat ones with short legs are RUSSELL Terriers. Parsons are different, but if you look up 'Jack Russell Terrier' on Wikipedia, it tells you the difference.

Okay dogs are super awesome and stuff. But what makes them that is all the different breeds! I love pugs because they are super adorable! But other people like the golden retriever or huskies or whatever. that's what makes them so great. Thanks to all the loved breeds dogs should be way higher on this list. Is a platypus a man's best friend?

Dogs are lovely but its not very original even if I voted for it (i found it very funny that the platypus came first). I voted for dogs because the dog is the animal that understands you the most and there is so many differant dog breeds in the world its almost lile another animal. 8.5/10 for dogs! - TheGirlyGamer

Dogs are AWESOME and I think its not fair that people think some dogs are better than others. also did you know black dogs are the last to be adopted and the first to be put down? I thinks its cruel. black dogs are just as great as other dogs

I think dogs are the best because they are not a wild animal that could attack you. Ya sure its probaly not likely that a lion will just attack you but dogs are one of the less likely to attack. If you have a dog you should know what I mean. Dogs are one of our closest relationships other than people. I think dogs deserve #1.
