I could do without the lust aspect love is not the same thing as lust love is unconditional doesnt judge and doesnt get jealous also compassion is the more essential aspect of love . I have to say that Aphrodite is one of my favorites. First of all, in most myths she's older than all of the Olympian gods, even the first six siblings. She's love and beauty and sexuality at its finest. Basically, all of the most persuasive human urges, she controls that. She's not AS MUCH of a slut as Zeus or Poseidon. She's the embodiment of love and strong emotions like it, her power could damage you way more than any other just because she takes you down from the inside. On the outside, not much of a threat, but hey, if you read any of the epics, you'll know she's played a major part in spurring some dramatic human wars.

She should be on top. She's the strongest and (possibly) the oldest. She's the strongest because, well, without love, non of those other gods (apart from Athena and a few others I guess) would have been born. She's just really powerful. Love is probably the most powerful thing to exist.

How is Aphrodite 8th?! Without her the world would never exist as it does because everyone would be miserable. There would be serious underpopulation and most of the gods wouldnt even be needed! Also I like how she was born from the ocean and so is technically the oldest of all the Olympian Gods! I also love her daughter Piper!

Come on! She should at least be in top ten! Even though she might not have powers that are like ESSENTIAL to your life but everyone wants beauty. And tons of people love lust and beauty... So
