My rats have always been my best friends. They're small but lovable, like a permanent pocket-sized puppy! Always get two- that'll keep each other entertained while you work.Rats aren't nocturnal or diurnal, but instead are pretty much available when you are! Rats make good pets. I never understood everyone's problem with them. The feral ones are the ones that carry diseases and are filthy. Domestic rats are well taken care of. I don't see why people think they're creepy or scary.

I love rats. I have 2 and they are the more friendly than my dogs. Good with kids (unlike my dog) they love being around people and make great pets if you really have the time to care for them. They are the sweetest creatures
