I've owned four ferrets in the past, and while I loved them to bits, I'm going to have to disagree on this. Ferrets might seem like easy pets, but they are surprisingly difficult animals to own. For starters, ferrets are obligate carnivores which means they need meat and only meat to survive. Most ferret kibbles are actually extremely unhealthy for them. In fact, most ferret products in general are terrible for their health. The ideal diet for a ferret is raw which is pretty expensive. Also, if you live in the United States, most ferrets you see are from Marshall farms. Marshall Farm ferrets are notorious for developing all sorts of health issues. Even if you feed such ferrets a raw diet, it's still very likely they will go on to develop health issues which shorten their lifespan. Ferrets from breeders also tend to be pretty expensive (and you'd have to get more than one since ferrets are social animals!) I love Ferrets even though I have never had one as a pet before. But I know that they are great pets and very crazy animals. My ferret bubbles is the weirdest little thing in the world. She steals my shoes, hides all the plastic bags in the house, runs around with an angry bird plushy and she hisses at my toes. Ugh.. But I love her haha

They are delightful energetic fun furry kids that tend to love pretty much everybody and anything. ( from my own personal experience )I was without any ferrets for 13 years and was reintroduced to them two years ago and I can't imagine my life ever again without them!

2 ferrets. Love them. So cute and cuddly! They're playful little things, but they always get up to mischief. If you're going to get a ferret, get 2+. They're very social animals. And do lots of research before getting ferrets. But they're just so loveable, and they make the cutest little sound.
