Megladon was the most dangerous shark that ever lived because it could kill ANY animal in the sea basically and the great white shark which is claimed to be the most dangerous shark ever are actually very weak compared to megladon the only reason megladon is extinct is because the temperature of the ocean got colder and they got weaker but great whites were used to it and it didn't effect them so scientist say that most likely that a great white shark bit a megladon causing is to bleed out fast because the water tempurature of the water effected it so much there for the megladon died and went extinct

How is this 3rd? This is the deadliest shark. It was probably placed third because it is old and extinct and so other sharks such as Great whites or Bull sharks became deadlier than the Megaladon. The Megaladon is longer than the Titanic. It however holds record as the biggest animal alive. However it does not hold the record for being the biggest animal alive. Taken by the Blue whale. this beast could swallow about 40 - 70 Great whites and still be hungry after a large amount of food. I might be wrong on it's size and food but it's pretty big compared to many things. this was my opinion on the Megaladon. What's yours?

The reason it isn't at the top of the list is because we are focusing on modern day sharks not prehistoric ones. It isn't realistic or fair to the other sharks on the list because Megalodon is huge compared to them it wouldn't be a competiton and there will be no point in doing it. Anyway the great white shark was more adaptable than megalodon because it survived to modern times while Megalodon went extinct.

I completely disagree I believe that the megalodon is still alive I don't care what anyone says I may only be a small 13 year old girl surfer the ocean is my life I live in Durban and look out to the sea everyday and I ask my self the same question every day what is it like what. If the megalodon is still out there so I disagree with the person that say the megalodon does not exist if you agree with me VOTE! MEGALODON
