I have had 3 laptops over the last 10 years. The first --a Dell-- crashed after about a year and a half and I lost EVERYTHING on it. (I was in college at the time, so it was devastating.) I switched over to Apple and had that computer for 4 years. The only reason I knew it was time for a new one is that the laptop itself was starting to show quite a bit of wear --there was a small period of time when Apple made its computers with plastic, which is what I had. So I got another Apple. It has been great for 4 years and I have not had a single problem with it.

Use Apple since the mid 1980's, if they they do breakdown (Rare), apple shops will bend over backward to help you. No viruses EVER... Works PC's even with protection, at some point get caught out, then the whole system has to be reset... Times money! Upgrades are easy thro' App Store, and don't cost the Earth, most times FREE.And software just works, no patches, and stuff.. they Just work.
