Do you kids have any idea of what Bionicle is? I mean really? Ninjago? NINJAGO? Why not just put that Chima bull while you're at it? I give Star Wars credit for getting Lego through some hard times. But Star Wars could never hope to achieve the gold standard that Bionicle did. Star Wars, while classic, required zero creativity. Lego didn't create it. Bionicle is the best Lego theme that has ever been created and will continue to be the best. You know why? Because it wasn't just a Lego toy. The sheer awesomeness of Bionicle allowed it to transcend mere limitations of being a mere plaything, it was its own mythology. Bionicle relied on the creativity of the user to become great.And that is what makes Lego so great. That's the very essence of Lego. Imagination. Good trumping evil. Not just a bunch of stupid sets.

Bionicle was honestly the best theme LEGO has ever. Inspiring a generation younger people, myself included to create our own stories and characters. BIONICLE was a huge homerun for LEGO. The sets were amazing, ranging from humanoid to animal-like to vehicles. They were like nothing we have ever seen before, with wonderful articulation, incredible masks, and creative styles of building that allowed young and old fans alike to make cool unique action figures. I absolutely loved collecting and building them. And the story... Briliant! Of all LEGO themes, it without a doubt had the best and most engaging storyline ever. Since it was not a licenced product, LEGO was able to write their own tales, and try new things. And to top all that, it lasted a whole 9 years. No other LEGO theme will ever come close to being able to replace this one. BIONICLE, in my opinion was the #1 LEGO theme of all time, and my favorite toyline and storyline ever!

Bionicle had it all. The sets were amazing and fun to play with. The story was detailed and fun to explore (the dumbing down of the story was the big downfall when they brought in back a few years ago, in my opinion). The potential to create using the parts was not only enjoyable but supported by the creators with competitions and such. It was so timeless and only got better as time went on and the fans grew up and the story got deeper. Compared to the worlds Lego are building (har-har) now, Bionicle was above and beyond, so much so that even now the fandom has endured. It deserves a place in Lego's Hall of Fame and should, in my opinion, be placed pride of place at the #1 spot every time.

I'm so glad now that Bionicle is the number one. I would still be glad if Star Wars remains #1 and this remaining 2nd because that would make sense since it's SW and it went from 1999 to now with great sets, and it smoothens out for Lego from getting rough times, which is second now. But having Bionicle would also makes sense since it saved Lego and it's great too, the nostalgia. And it's been created by Lego, a good work for them. While Star Wars is a licensed theme. 4th? Well it isn't so bad to see Bionicle being 4th but I think they deserve to be first. Bionicle was probably the best, greatest, the most popular, and the most successful Lego theme they have ever made. They are better than Ninjago. I also like Star Wars too, they are my 2nd favorite but I think Bionicle is better and it deserve to be first, because first of all, bionicle was one of the most successful theme for Lego. It even saved the company Lego from its financial crisis in the late 1990s. Which means on that time, Lego had a low profit and it could've been bankrupt but until bionicle came, a lot of people would start buying it and they start making so much money out of it that soon it got so popular and successful. Pretty much u should thank bionicle for saving Lego. Also another thing is that they were also very cool and fun to play with and very unique. They are great sets. They had a good story. If there was ever a Lego theme that was more deserving than this one, please name it for me. I absolutely love Lego Star Wars, and I sure as heck wish Lord of the Rings had come out when I was much younger. But BIONICLEs went from 2001-2010, and it managed to stay fresh and exciting every year, while still managing to hold together a great story that made you want to keep following it! This is one theme that I highly doubt Lego will ever be able to replicate in value; a truly marvelous breakthrough for construction toys.

Honestly, this series means a lot to me. I collected more Bionicle sets than anything else in the world and, frankly, I wouldn't replace it with anything. The story is one of the most engaging and expansive in Lego's library and was their first original concept that really took off.
