I have 2 Yeti bikes, a Big Top 29er hardtail and a ASR all carbon 29er full suspension. I've ridden mtn bikes for about 20 years and owned a bunch of the other brands mentioned on this list. Read the bike magazine reviews, Yeti is generally the top pick. The other brands make all types of bikes, but Yeti makes ONLY mtn bikes. If you can afford a Yeti, you simply will not regret it.

I have owned Giant, Bridgestone and multiple Specialized bikes - all good, but once I owned a Yeti there was no turning back. I am on my second Yeti and they are simply amazing - I can do things on that bike that I could never do on mass produced brand bikes.

I have owned 3 Yetis: DJ, 303R DH and SB66. Fit-and-finish of all Yetis, U.S. or overseas-made, is head and shoulders above the rest. They really should be above Santa Cruz - - SC is the "poor-man's Yeti" in my opinion. Each Yeti has been or is ahead of its time in engineering and attention to detail.

I have owned a few Yeti's. Started with a 2001 Kokopelli and I rode the thing till I upgraded to a 2014 SB95 a few months ago. The Koko is now a hand me down to my son. It is still SOLID. The SB95 is the most amazing bike I have ever thrown a leg over.

Ive had tons of bikes over the years, Giants, Specialized, Scott, and more; Yeti is in a class of its own. This list is based on votes.. most widespread appeal based on price, accessibility, popularity etc: not Yeti. Best premium hand built mountain bikes made: Yeti all day long.

I ride professionally and yeti is definitely my favourite brand of bike. All of there bikes are amazing.
