Orbea Onix 2006 frame lasted for over 10 years with no frame problems. Over 65 000km under the frame without a hitch now and as I'm an 87kg rider, can attest to durability. Suggest higher stiffness carbon frames for those wanting to sprint, but for enduro or light touring onix is great value for money. Orbea geometry is excellent and quicker and more responsive around corners, particularly downhill than my more modern and much more expensive Pinarello.

Got my orbea alma earlier this year. I love that bike. It makes you feel like you riding a 26" even though it's a 29er, because it's so quick. The bike makes you feel like your in the bike rather than on top. And I have had 0 problems with it since I bought it. Right now I have shimano xt, aluminum frame, composite seat post (that was stock), selle italia saddle and speedplay drillium pedals. I have also heard that orbea was the first to make a true 29er.

Got it 2 years ago to get fit. Ended up as my daily transport, 3 downhill events, various enduro events... No problem with it so far. Well happy with it, and I m sure my next one will be an Orbea
