Craigslist has some pretty miserable users that have nothing better to do than to flag your ad... Oh, and they do... Over, and over, and over. Too many power tripping people without mediation. They should be monitored, and banned for making other people's lives difficult. I doubt that'll ever happen though. It has good traffic, but it's pretty useless, and time consuming when others are allowed to have your ad taken down in an instant, and you have to keep reposting it. God only knows what their mental issues are. Craigslist bows down to to cry babies who want stuff for free. If it's not free, they'll flag you. If it's competition, they'll flag you. If you get flagged, your ad gets removed without review. Had this happen to me repeatedly for the last couple years of my unsavory experience with this site. I give up. Garbage automated site. Totally under the thumb of people that want to dictate their own ideas.

Craigslist outshines any free classified service out there. I search Craigslist every day and my biggest complaint is that I see numerous posting violations every day. People who complain about being flagged need to realize they most likely violated the terms of use. Period. As CL states: "Millions of ads are removed by flagging monthly, nearly all of which violate the Craigslist terms of use." Ignore the naysayers below, the site is moderated by you -the user- not degenerates. You make your own reality. Just follow the terms of use - it's as simple as that. Love to all, we are one.

Anyone can "flag" or delete your ad 4 any reason whatsoever they remain faceless... They do not need to "justify" any accusations that your ad isn't abiding by CL rules regulations you have no recourse whatsoever except to send a complaint w/ th ad # you get an automated text that basically says your "screwed"! You can not re run the ad w/o re writing it from scratch it just gets flagged again! "Craigs List" basically "SPAWNS" these individuals from their lack of interaction... The site is "totally self governed" by faceless degenerates! You don't even know why you were flagged... No reason whatsoever... Your ad is just gone if you post anything "derogatory" about what happened..."All" your ads start getting flagged! I'm done w/ Craigs List... It was a great site until your ad is competition or someone decides they don't like your ad! These people get off by controlling others lives don't have to justify anything! "POWER CORUPTS"!

Just be sure to set up a disposable email account to use the website, so after you are done selling or buying, and it is full of spam, you can eliminate it and start over. It's a good idea to not post valuable things either so that you won't be targeted by scammers and criminals. You want to attract regular folks whose aim is to do some small business cleaning out their house or adding a new inexpensive item when they find a deal.

I hate craigslist! No rhyme or reason for flagging my ads. Really sad that some loser can screw up your account, and ruin your livelihood. Craigslist could care less! Even when you post compliant ads and begin being hassled by some random idiot flagging your ads down, craigslist assumes that you must be doing something wrong, so they ghost your ads. What a crock that is! I can't wait to see craigslist go down!

Great website, I buy and sell things all the time. I have used the site for about 8 years, only once did I have an ad removed with no reason. Rarely there are scams, but that is with anything these days. Use common sense, meet in person, and cash only.
