Why does this need to exist and why is it popular, its just like taking Facebook, take just the photo sharing part, and bam, you have Instagram, pointless Instagram is completely unpleasant. I'm shocked how low this site is on this list. Any good content is stolen, something people can get rich off of, mind you, and anything original is extremely unfunny, or some image/video of a bland, attractive model. It's fostered this culture of vapid e-celebrities that get money for doing nothing. Not only that, but as mentioned before, much of its content is stolen and repurposed, and the admins basically do nothing to stop it, most likely because it brings in a lot of revenue. f---jerry comes to mind as a specifically egregious example. Don't steal content, and when you make content that's your own, put some effort into it. That motto is the very antithesis of Instagram. It provides nothing of value for anyone, and it and Snapchat are easily the worst two popular websites right now, with Twitter and Facebook being close seconds. - regularshowman
