Whilst the mighty, heavily-funded Barq's Root Beer capitulates to society's ever-growing obsession with sugar, and others mistakenly see it as a challenge to perform a 180 degree turn, AW has been able to grow in its own right, fast becoming the greatest brand of Root Beer to grace us with its presence. When I think of root beer, AW comes to mind. Don't get me wrong, I like almost every root beer I have had, but AW is just the best. Whether it's in a root beer float or all by itself, you just can't go wrong with AW. We even picked out a name that begins with 'A' so AW could be her initials. If you can get to one of their restaurants and can have it on tap, it's even better! I think I'll have one right now.

This is just delicious. I can't get enough of it. Mug and IBC are good, but Mug, while holding less sugar than A^^W, seems a little candy-like to me. I can't identify specific flavors in IBC, it's nearly a chaotic drink (in a way I guess). A^^W is sweet and delicious, easily ranking top. However, Mug and IBC are good as well, so try those out as well. (they can't compare to a^^w, though). Barq's is definitely not one of my favorites, but, being a root beer, it's still very drinkable.

It has that special ingredient that most root beers don't have: Vanilla. AW has the sweet vanilla in it, and also does not get flat that easily. It also is sweet, but not too sweet, which makes it the perfect root beer.

AW Root Beer is the best. Never disappointing always had that fresh clean smooth taste going down. Especially when you toss a scoop of vanilla ice cream to have a root beer float it's the best.

This is best when bought at an AW restaurant on tap and in a frosty mug. There is no pop more delicious then. If you can only get cans or bottles from a store, though, I'd go with Dad's as best.
