WOW! This show is so retarded, its on the list twice! I can't go anywhere on the damn internet without finding anything pony related! Bronies leave their mark on everything! Long before this stupid show came out! Ugghhh... I will never enjoy internet ever again. Oh, and I watched the first few episodes. I didn't like it. It was boring. It wasn't funny in any way. Why is this show so overrated? Its like Bronies put the show on a pedestal and worship it! That's right! They worship it! GOD! To know that 20 year old men are watching a little girls show, is just very depressing. And it really makes me not want to live on this planet anymore.

Truth is it's a good show, doesn't matter the target audience. Adults can watch shows meant for kids and still get good messages from them. That's why I enjoy it, I get more out of it than repetition from these brainless kids shows. "MAP SAY MAP! ". I admit many bronies are really creepy and take the show completely wrong, even ruin it... But the show has good lessons and I enjoy watching it with my kids; two girls and one boy. I really admire the lessons and how clean it is. It's a far better show for kids than many. I can see why people of all ages admire it; just like how people of all ages like Disney. It doesn't prevent you from growing up, it's just a T.V. show. What prevents you from growing up is you. Watching a cartoon doesn't make you immature. I feel people too easily judge it based on the fandom, which sadly happens with a lot of things. If we went based on idiot fans, we'd never do/watch/listen to anything!

I understand why teens and adult men would love this show. Lauren Faust said herself that she created the show to be somewhat appealing to older males, since she knew that guys would probably have to sit through the show with their daughters/little sisters at some point. She made it so that if guys watched it, they wouldn't want to bang their heads into the wall several times. This is the same woman who helped work on the Powerpuff Girls, might I add. And deeming a girl's show to be unwatchable because of inherent "girliness" is really sexist and behind the times, and may also be why there aren't a lot of girl shows these days... Because of people thinking that a show for girls must be absolutely horrible, the creators usually go "who cares. " This show was obviously written with care.

I don't really understand how this can be considered one of the worst shows of all time strictly and only based on the fact that it's popular... I'm not even a huge fan but all of these comments aren't even criticizing the show they're just criticizing the popularity and considering it among the worst shows because they see things about it everywhere? So by this same reasoning I guess I can call SpongeBob and the Big Bang Theory horrible because I see things about those shows everywhere. And SpongeBob is a kids show but half of the people that watch it are over eighteen so that's wrong! This is literally everyone's reasoning for not liking this and it can easily be applied to all of the shows that they're watching so it shows that they probably are judging something that they haven't even seen. - TeeSevenSee

I'm not bashing it because it's a kids show and 30 year old pedophiles watch it, but because it's just boring. It's just ponies solving each other's problems with magic and lessons. Sure, some people say it's more than just that, but a few spin-off episodes won't do anything. Neither does a few adult jokes, EVERY cartoon, (except Disney Jr. or Nick Jr.,) will have at least ONE adult joke in an episode. (Not every, but at least one in the whole thing, if not more.) And the WORST thing about this show is the musical notes. It will entertain its target audience, but if you're older than 16 you will leave the room. They could not be anymore unbearable.

Rather, its just an "easy way out" in life that has no benefits and it's a shame the creators and cast support them because of them. You're nothing more than profit for the company. You must grow up. This is a dreamworld for young girls dreams. Not yours.
