First comment on the USA anthem, I agree with some of the things you have said, it is quite a nice country, quite nice anthem, but not as a great country as great England and all its United Kingdom and British Isles. And this anthem clearly worked! The Queen has been on the great and proud throne of our (Mine at least) Countries great and widely known and respected throne for a whole 64 years. This should be number 1. Well, maybe number one best country ever. When all is lost, England and it's profound Isles will pick itself up and fight on! England, Scotland, Wales, Northern and Southern Ireland and the Isle of Man, together we are a United Kingdom, as one!

God Save The Queen is not a truly British anthem. It only reflects the royal family and shows they are higher than everything else, the reason why the English civil war was fought. I think "Rule Britannia" should definitely be the anthem of my country instead.

To all the people on here saying God save the queen and all that, have you ever thought about the fact that eveything she owns is plundered by her ancestors and their armies who killed and terrorised innocent women and children to just expand their empire. And if all her money went to starving kids and charity how many lives would be saved rather than her sitting in her palace.Scotland, Wales and N.I also have their own better national anthems so please consider them as their own nations rather than sub states of England.

As an Frenchman I should not traditionally like this Anthem, however I love it. Every time I hear it, I have goosebumps, I can feel the emotion in the voices of those who are proud to stand tall and sing with the passion that only a English citizen can deliver. To me, this is the Best in the World (maybe there is some English Blood (I'm Breton) in me somewhere that tingles upon hearing the God save the Queen). As previously said. "Long live UK"

My countries anthem and dreary as hell, as Billy Connolly once said "even the archers theme would inspire you more" in my humble opinion our Anthem should be either Land of Hope and Glory or Rule Britannia,two far more rousing Anthems.
