They factored in that Solaris feat which makes the Super Hedgehogs low multiversal since Solaris is a being that exists in all 3 timelines and has been stated that he can destroy dimensions and other universes. Since it did take 3 Super Hedgehogs to beat him, low multiversal would be a level that would make more sense than automatically making all of them multiversal. Even then, they had Vegeta win simply due to plot-induced stupidity. When Shadow was teleporting Vegeta, he couldve just teleported him into the sun and the fight would be over.
