Muse is probably the most unique British band there is right now. Each of their albums having a different style and genre (s) makes them simply amazing for everyone. Matt Bellamy honestly has the most amazing voice I have ever heard, melodic, expresses emotions perfectly, and is one of the only rock singers that can actually use falsetto amazingly. Not to mention his incredle guitar playing skills, the Plug In Baby riff was voted the best riff of the decade, and with good reason! His guitarist is always complex, and uses a wide range of guitar techniques, not to mention his frequent use of improvisation in playing guitar live. Chris Wolstenholme has been voted one of the greatest bassists of all time, this being backed up by the incredible bass riff in Hysteria, the legendary bass riff of Time Is Running Out, and so many more! Muse is the best band ever. They deserve to be on the top of this page because they've got all at their advantage. I mean, Matt bellamy's voice is MORE THAN INCREDIBLE, he can sing low notes and high notes perfectly. He's an amazing song writter, and I'm f-ing jealous of his guitar and piano skills! Chris is a awesome basist as well and his backvocals add something special to every songs! They put a lot of money on their live performance which makes it unforgettable to their fans. When you get back home after a performance you just can't believe what just happened! I love them! They're amazing! I'm from Montréal and it is really sad that not a lot of people know who they are, 'cause they're missing something! But still they said that we were the best crowd they had in their North American tour :) Love you guys

Much better than the likes of Coldplay.This being said, The Beatles deserve to be at the top, just giving Muse some love because they are my favourite band.

Obviously everyone will argue that The Beatles are better than Muse, but Muse has an advantage - better lyrics. When you really think about it, there is only a small percentage of Beatles songs that have decent lyrics. Every Muse song has beautiful lyrics. They're not just little jingles! - tr_11

If you think that Keane and Iron Maiden are better than Muse, go listen to Origin of Symmetry, watch any live performance and realize that there are only 3 people making this much noise and then tell me that Keane and Iron Maiden are better.

This list is the hardest to vote for I have ever come across. I am a huge fan of Coldplay, but I get bored of their songs and I go through fads with their music. Muse has a much larger musical vocabulary. I feel bad for the other bands I can't vote for, sorry U2, Coldplay, Queen, Beatles, etc.

Only band that could (maybe) deserve to be above Muse are the Beatles - and that's only because they changed music so much. If Muse had been around at the same time, they'd have been even bigger than the Beatles were!
