This was written after the death of Andy's grandfather. He said; "I was very close to him. Every day after school, I would go to his house and talk. During the funeral people were talking about how my grandfather would go into Heaven, and how wonderful a person he was. I started to think about what heaven is." Andy is Atheist. "I hope I'm wrong, and I hope he is in the clouds, but on a personal level, I was thinking of the importance this person had to all these people at the church. If nothing else, Heaven is a legacy that you leave with the people around you. If there was a place that is Heaven, that's wonderful. But people telling the story of your life after you've lived it, those are the people who create that afterlife you have and continue this legacy. In The End was the first song I heard from Black Veil Brides and since then I have become a pretty big fan. The music video is compelling, the lyrics are filled with emotion, the guitars, bass and drums are all on point... and the message is truly motivating. The song is questioning, after you die, who will remember your moments, your achievements, your actions, your presence? The imprint you make on this world is important. In The End ignites a flame in your heart to leave behind an everlasting legacy. I think that is the most beautiful aspect of this song and the reason why it's my favorite BVB song.

In the End was the first song I heard from Black Veil Brides. The music video really interested me and the singing is on point. The bass is magnificent and paired with the drums it sounds amazing. Obviously, Jinxx and Jake's guitars were awesome and overall, I think that this should be number one.

I thought it was an amazing song and still think it's their best out of the ones I have heard. This should totally be at number one! However, I do love Fallen Angels and Rebel Love Song too. Go BVB!
