Meteora was the first Linkin Park album I owned. It was my favorite thing to listen to back when I was a kid. It still is today. Meteora has been my favorite Linkin Park album since forever. And now this album is my most favorite album of all time. It also contains some of my most favorite songs of all time too. Like Lying From You, Nobody's Listening, Numb (Of course), Breaking The Habit, Faint, Easier To Run and my most favorite song of all time... Somewhere I Belong. Meteora I have to say is better than Hybrid Theory by just a little bit. All Linkin Park albums are great... Even A Thousand Suns but Meteora stands out the greatest.

Are you kidding me? How is Hybrid Theory above this?Alright, I can answer that question myself. Because it's an amazing album. Songs like Papercut, In the End, Crawling and Points of Authority make HT truly a spectacular debut record.However, when you put it up against Meteora, I just don't think it stands up. I love, repeat *love* every song on this album, and I think they matured their aggressive rock + hip-hop genre clash nearly flawlessly on this album.Personal favorites would have to be Breaking the Habit, Nobody's Listening, Don't Stay and Hit the Floor. - caleb4est

I recently listened very carefully and critically to the hybrid theory and now I think it is a very immature album. I do recognise its value and thr fact that those songs were just the birth of nu metal, and I prefer those rough sounds to meteora's smooth angles. Despite of these bonuses, HT doesn't have a well-studied background in songwriting: good ideas, but too immature to be appreciated at the same high point through the years.Meteora instead demonstrates a real evolution. It is more serious, compact and balanced. Meteora is not an album for loosers and is more serious for sure.

Meteora is amazing. I mostly like it because it has my favorite linkin park song of all time:Faint. It also has other really good songs like "Don't Stay", "nobody's listening", Hit The Floor", and "Lying From You". I also like it because it's Linkin Park. Meteora is what Linkin Park should be. If there is another album by them that's just like it( I'v only listened to all of Hybrid Theory, All of meteora, and then one more light the song) I would be happy. and I know all the lyrics for Faint, Breaking the Habit, Don't stay, and I'm doing pretty good with the other songs of meteora.

This album is the perfect example of what Linkin Park is capable of. Great timing with hip-hop influences and great guitar plays. Every single one of the songs, even session, is very energising and really helps you when you are frustrated or angry, but still sounds great when you are feel happy. The hybrid theory is also a great album but not all of the songs are amazing. There is a few that are really standing out which is less the case in meteora.

Most people who vote for Meteora are like, " It's a good album, but Hybrid Theory is better. "I disagree. Meteora is an AWESOME album. How can you not like it with an explosive intro with Don't Stay, and songs like Lying From You, Hit The Floor, Faint, Figure.09, more all less the whole album! Yet people vote for Hybrid Theory (don't get me wrong, I love HT too), but Meteora is far better. Everyone just vote for HT because it's their first album.

I'm sorry. Meteora is far from the best. It is personally my favorite but technically their worst. ATS is their best creatively. great lyrics, no angst. THP is the best musicianship and hybrid theory is a masterpiece, minus a few lyrics. Meteora on the otherhand lyrically is terrible minus a few songs. cliched lyrics and bad raps. the album seems to be directed towards teenagers. don't get me wrong I like thos album a lot top 5 for me. But it is definitely far from their best. Hybrid Theory was angsty but at least it was done well and had overall good lyrics that were actually thought provoking and not " my life sucks, you don't understand the pain." I'm not saying this album is bad but it shouldn't be considered lp's proudest work.

This albums is slightly better than hybrid theory because it flows more smoothly and also shows the groups improvements since their first album. Although their first album was great and laid important groundwork in the music society, this album is superior because they took the minority of bad qualities from their first effort and improved most of not all of those!

Just a more well put together album than Hybrid Theory, although the rage and epic guitar riffs in Hybrids Theory were captivating, songs like breaking the habit or faint on meteora really show LP at their finest. And honestly numb is better than in the end only because I think that the chorus can just put anyone into infinite sadness and the power of that song puts Hybrid Theory to shame
