This song is my all time favorite Rush song because it always makes me feel like I'm in a good mood and I always have to put it on in the morning because the "magic music makes my morning mood. " I just love this song. Period.

Great intro! Rock n roll with a little reggae on the side. Alex's solo is ripping and very well put. Neil on the drum makes this song come together though with his fills and all over awesomeness on the drums

Granted, the other songs are great but there's just SO many great Rush songs that it's kinda unfair to select just 10.But at the end of the day, SoR is thoughtful, has feeling, is upbeat, interesting musically and most of all ROCKS!

The Spirit of the Radio is my favrorie because that was how I was turned on to Rush. I think many of their songs are better than Tom Sawyer, like: 2112, La villa, Xanadu Limelight, yyz, passage to bk, Cygnus x-1, Hemispheres, and all thes songs on Clock Work Angles. Don't understand all the hype about TS?
