The Sims 3 Pets Expansion Pack has everything--and mean it...EVERYTHING--from kittens to puppies, from cats to dogs. Horses are also a wonderful addition to the family. You can create a pet for your household, or you can simply just adopt a pet from the shelter. But, if you adopt one from the shelter, hover your mouse over it first and check out their traits! Sims 3 Pets is absolutely, totally, amazing. It is not just your average cat, or dog too. There are horses and geckos and chameleons and squirrels and birds and so many different types of animals! It also seems that there is a lot more stuff, not just things for your pets, too, there is things in it that seems they should belong in supernatural, but it is in pets! Things that should be in seasons are in pets! It is truly a lovely game! Also, you have the ability to find wild animals and tame them, and you are able to find wild animals that you can't tame, yet really add depth into the game, like wild deer. This expansion is one of the best available, and I would seriously recommend this game to a friend, family member, or even a random stranger who likes pets or/and the Sims franchise!

I am a crazy cat lady in real life, so my people obviously own tons and tons of cats! LOL!But they also own dogs, horses, birds, fish, a chipmunk, a squirrel, and a bird. There have the time of their lives! The people AND the animals!If your people are bored and sometimes find themselves with nothing to do, then get them a pet! Make sure to provide the pet with all of the things it needs, or the social worker will come and take it away! Oh no!Your people can become happier based on interactions had with the pet, have life-time wishes based off of something to do with pets, and build relationships from bonding with the pet. It's great! My people have had the times of their lives with their pets, and they love that 100%I would recommend the pets expansion pack to those who love animals and everything to do with them. This is an OKAY expansion pack. I mean, It can be a hit or miss type of deal. I like to keep my sims free and unbound to work and labor. I only got ONE pet for my sim, and it's the equivalent to taking care of nine toddlers with only one adult sim. It can quickly become a CHORE for your sims, so consider buying with caution.Pets do add realism to the game, but when it becomes too realistic and waste away your sims lives just so the pet can eventually die like you didn't just spend your time with the pet trying to avoid social care is when I draw the line lol.

This is my favorite expansions because it adds pets! If you love animals, then you will love this pack. I enjoy creating whacky animals with odd colored fur. You can literally make my little pony with the new horses! The customization is unreal! In my opinion, the new world Appaloosa Plains is stunning while not being laggy! You can own a farm down by the river, or live in the little village near the town! It is very cool how you can train your horses and enter races for money! With all cats, dogs, and horses, there are so many options and traits to choose from! Make sure to discipline your pets for being bad and encourage them to be good, so that they can gain or loose certain traits! When I am creating pets, I usually give them the non-destructive trait so that they dont destroy my house! Trust me, if your simm is busy, when they come home from work they will witness a very trashed house, as they can destroy anything from chairs to beds. I would say this is the best one. It sounds small, I know. But it expands the game into more of a challenge, also giving alternate ways to live! Like for example, you can live on a farm with horses, dogs and cats, or just simply put a cat into your average family. It gives a challenge in the way that you have one or more extra family members to take care of, with different traits and needs than Sims.I myself have a 4-person family with a cat and a dog. They add an "attraction" to the kids and lonely Sims, give me something to take care of at night and just generally make me happy as an animal lover.Definitely recommended. =)

I am in love with this expansion pack! It is definitely one of my favourites. I really enjoy adding dogs,cats and horses to my game play. This expansion pack makes your game so much more fun! I was a littleSurprised how this is ranked number 6 to be honest, I thought it would have been at the top 3. This expantion pack also comes with newClothes and obviously items for yourPets.
