The new skills, Sculpting and Inventing, are well executed, visually pleasing, the Self Employment is a great new option if you wish to make money via your Sim's hobby, and the new Twinbrook neighborhood has nice marsh-y areas fit for hermits and eccentrics as well as luxurous manors on their own separate island. I'd say that this, Into the Future and Supernatural are the top three powerhouses to first flesh out your game, then Late Night, World Adventures, Showtime and Generations, order insignificant, to get spiffy new stuff, and last Uni Life, Pets, and Island Paradise, the former two of which have annoying quirks and irritating bugs (though ItF has some too), and IP has top-notch visuals but experiences serious lag on lower-end computers.

Ambitions is AMAAZING! I don't have many expansions just pets, supernatural and ambitions however I am looking to expand. Ambitions allows you to become a sculptor, stylist, fireman, self-registered painter/gardener/writer; and so much more! If your a sims addict like me me you may or may not know a few cheats. Step-by-step; hold dowm shift, ctrl, c then if you look at the top your screen u will see a blue strip if typre in (testingcheatsenabled true) then press enter you can hold down shift click the floor and click spawn job so if your a fireman you will set someones house on fire then the game will guide you to click on fire and put out. Gotta say it made the gameplay way less repetitive. Firstly, working finally isn't just your Sim disappearing for a few hours inside a prop building with the fun motive going down - most of the week, but you actually do something on-screen. Plus the inventing skill... Get to the 6th level and have lots of fun blowing stuff up. Dayum, thought Grand Theft Auto was hardcore ;P

Although I would've voted for Late Night, I just simply can't let this expansion pack fall at number 8. The jobs it adds are fun and a nice change to staring at a building while your sim(s) vanish inside. It's a must buy, even if it isn't your favorite expansion pack, because the new features really add to the gameplay and I can't see myself playing without them.

! So awesome! You can be a fireman! Like seriously! There are other proffessions too. If you're bored of just sending your sims to work then this is the expansion for you! You can pick a profession like a Doctor and actually go to the house and heal the sims or you could be mean and give them the wrong medicine. I don't know. So good though!

You can never get tired of this expansion pack. You just can't. I don't think I had ever had as much fun playing The Sims 3 as when I got Ambitions- there is just so much to do! Careers have become one of the highlights of my every game, really. The possibilities are just endless with this one!
