The argument for hardest song in Guitar Hero ultimately comes down to Through the Fire and Flames and The Devil Went Down to Georgia. If you can get a tapping technique down, you can get past the intro of Through the Fire and Flames with ease, and the solo is short enough that if you time your star power right, you can get through it. TDWDTG on the other hand, is a pure endurance test. Both solos are so long that you can't cheat with star power to get through. If you lose your rhythm once, even by a little, you're completely screwed. I can beat Through the Fire and Flames every time now that I learned a tapping technique for the intro. I have only beaten TDWDTG once, and that's enough for me. For me, this is the most difficult song in the entire series without question.

This has to be the hardest song on Guitar Hero. Especially the battle against Lou, which is a NIGHTMARE, seeing as it's very unforgiving on the spikey star-things. Messing up and missing the battle stars is hard enough against Lou, but just keeping yourself from not failing is harder. I've seen a lot of people take Fury of the Storm or TTFATF over this song, but no way are those harder than this. Especially since the metal version on GH is longer than the original because of the solos. And I'm talking 2-3 minutes longer. Hands-down hardest song on Guitar Hero.

There are many brutally difficult songs in Guitar Hero, but the most impossible ones that come to mind are Through The Fire and Flames, The Devil Went Down To Georgia, Fury of the Storm and Jordan. Then you have Raining Blood, One, Eruption... But those are more manageable I think.TDWDTG starts of easier, with a rapid stringed single notes session. Goes somewhat easier like this until about 30% when the first solo starts. The next solo after the small break is so long and brutal. I find this fun to play though... Until I get to 35% =P...

This song is intensely hard haha. Harder than TTFATF. I've at least beaten that one. This one I haven't, though I have gotten much better since the last time I played this song...Why is One THAT high on the list. Sure some people think it's hard, but it surely isn't harder than Satch Boogie... The Way it Ends should drop maybe 10 or more spots... this list doesn't have enough Guitar Hero Metallica Songs. There are a very limited number of people who can even FC past the intro to this song. The strumming averages nearly 20 notes per second and lasts long enough that you can't really burst through it like in Trogdor or Ties That Bind. There's another similarly fast strumming section in the second verse which isn't as long, but it's broken up and hard to tell if each little piece of it ends on an up strum or a down strum.And you haven't even reached the solo yet.The first solo is (relatively) easy. In my opinion, this list is absolutely correct, except for the fact that this song should be first. There's no doubt in my mind this is the hardest. I simply cannot beat it. I think that it should go TDWDTG, then either Through the Fire and Flames or Jordan, then the rest stays the same
