Cricket is a sport for when golf has got too exciting for you. They really ought to stop there and save everyone a lot of boredom.

I am making a concerted effort to watch and learn Cricket. Overs. Wickets. Run rates. It is bad. Very bad. It is so bad that it is like a B-movie of the sporting world, so bad that I'll watch it just for the spectacle of it all. I can see how cricket would have been popular during the dark ages when serfs had nothing better to do. Now not all American sports are the best. Football (soccer to Americans) is my #1 sport. Baseball is my 2nd, and it is also a very slow game with strategy. The NBA is #2 on my dislike list, behind of course, cricket. I don't mind Union and League Rugby, they have rules that make sense. But try learning Cricket in under 30 minutes, no chance. Therefore it is #1 on my list.

Cricket is a full waste of time (6-7 hours), with no physical and mental exercise. There is no stamina build-up, no team management at one go, and not even feeling of unity while playing. It as total time waste. For E.G. everybody can easily compare the physical status of cricketers with any others sportsperson... Cricketers have worst health among all sports.Cricket is a game of only 2 players batting, and one bowling... And if both out at zero... On GOD... You just sit and clap for others, AND if the two batsmen batted all 50 overs then other nine players sitting in stadium clap for the batsmen... It is truly worst sport in the world.. Thank GOD, most of the countries are not wasting time on cricket... It should be vanished from human society... It same of sensible and logical society of humans.

Honestly I can say cricket is one of the better sports I play behind golf, basketball and touch rugby. The problem with cricket is how long it is. What the heck? cricket gains tons of stamina and it is a sport where you have to run a lot. especially keeping. so whoever saind cricket is a bad sport then you have to try it first. Cricket shouldn't be no.1 on this list. Here's why-Most people do not like cricket because they first watch test cricket and feel it is too long and boring. For them I have a simple analogy - Consider that you are new into book reading, if you ask someone for advice on which book to read they wouldn't directly give you an unabridged Charles Dickens to read. First they would give you something like a Harry Potter that is comparatively simpler to understand yet contains similar amount of depth. If you begin to like reading, you would automatically go for Charles Dickens. Same is the case with cricket, if you are a newbie go for formats like T20 or ODI, if you like them you would automatically go for tests. Now some people say that cricket is not very global sport, they say it is played by only ten countries.
