I believe that hockey is the worst sport to ever exist for various reasons. For starters, the sport is was to violent. I know people that play and almost every weekend, he got carried of the ice in a neck brace in an ambulance. The sport disregards the safety of the players involved. Even though they claim that they are making advancements in the safety department. They cannot ensure that the players are safe during the game. Second, the sport is BORING! The sport moves to slow for those who are interested in actual sports. They just skate around on the ice and hit each other way to hard while the refs stand idly by. Third, it doesn't have equal opportunity for people to play. Many colleges do not offer this sport, along with many high schools. This is limiting the number of people allowed to play. This sport is barbaric, deafening, violent, and wastes the precious time on ice. Because of hockey, amazing figure skaters get less time to skate!
