Are you kidding me? Hades is the king of sarcasm and sass. Other villains come in as absolutely terrifying and menacing while this guy is chill. He knows how to make an entrance and he's so cute when he gets frustrated. The way he calms himself and his lovable personality even though he's evil. But even so his job is to rule the underworld it is boring and as he also says "filled with dead people." He's got to make the best out of his job and he does this beautifully. And it was his brother Zeus who sent him to do this job in the first place. No wonder the guy wants revenge. It's the most reasonable revenge story on the history of Disney. Two thumbs way way up for our leading bad guy. What a dish. What a guy. And I don't care what y'all say but no one's gonna tell me that Hades isn't the best Disney villain because obviously you people are boring.

Hades is definitely my favorite Disney villain. He is definitely the funniest (with Yzma being #2) and sassiest Disney villain. I also feel bad for him because his life pretty much sucks, and then Zeus and every other god or goddess on Olympus laughs at him just because he lives in the Underworld. A lot of Disney villains love to be evil for no good reason (Frollo, Gaston, Cruella de Vil) so at least Hades had a good reason to be evil (even if Hera is really the villain according to actual mythology and not Disney). Without him the movie would not ever be as good as it is now.

Most Disney villains are just brooding and creepy, which makes their characters 2-dimensional. Hades (and Hans! ! Research psychopaths! ) are more realistic and believable about how they can be so successful: Hades' wit and crafty deals, and Hans' handsome, nice-guy act.

Hades is easily my favorite villain. He is so funny. The most evil villain is Cruella(although most people seem to disagree). After Cruella, Frollo is the second most evil villain. Maleficent is one of the most powerful villains, but she has good(well not good, but she has motive which is why I don't consider think she is as evil. Although I don't know why she punished Aurora when it was Aurora's parents fault. - Disneylover

Hades is the most hilarious villain ever! Such a hothead, too (LITERALLY! ) The best thing about him is his hair (no doubt about that)! Hades I've got to admit I am a fan-girl over he has blue fire for hair...actual fire mind you... (which for some reason turns red when he is angry even though blue fire is hotter...also it is hilarious when pegasus blows out his hair! ) and is very stylish (seriously that color looks great on him! Gray who knew right? ) he knows how to get what he wants (even if it fails) and is smart enough to hang back...he is pretty intelligent...and makes some awesome faces...his jokes almost always go straight to your funny bone to! Also he is the villain for the awesomest Disney movie ever! I am a mythology geek and I just love how they redid Heracles to make it "child appropriate" and more entertaining! (Though I am not sure why Hades is the bad guy! In the real myth Hera isn't heracules's mother he is born because Zeus cheats on her (again) then renamed to appease Hera who tries to kill him anyway (hints the snakes in the movie...) somewhere along the line Hera drives Herc, mad and ... more

Hades is one of my favorites. My other faves would have to be maleficent, scar and chernabog. It was a close one for me, but after careful decision, I decided on hades! He is absolutely hilarious and still a bad*ss at the same time!
