Yes, Maleficent had the powers of hell at her command, but Princess and the Frog went into so much more detail at what that's actually LIKE. *shudder* Yeah, I know it's fictionalized voodoo, not hell as such, but the Friends on the Other Side were THE most terrifying thing I have ever seen in a Disney movie. He gets all the most intense scenes of the movie, he kills Ray (my favorite character *sniff*), and it really shows Tiana's heroism when he tempts her to abandon Naveen and make a deal with him. Plus he looked cool, he had great dance moves, and it was really creative of the animators how his shadow always moves differently than he does.

Dr. Facilier should be ranked MUCH, MUCH higher due to his significant role that was implied in the movie, intelligence and unique style. While all villains share one common quality: Evilness, he just seems to possess character traits that nobody shares. That guy was a total genuis, plans his own schemes before stepping into game and does know how to manipulate his victims. Another thing quite attractive in him despite his role, is how unique his style is aside of the fact he's intellectual, knowledgeable and excruciatingly vicious. He can sing, dance, play instruments all in such swag ad entertainment. But how can we talk abouthim, without mentioning his song number: Friends on the Other Side? If ya watch it, you would totally understand me.

How can somebody that epic be so disregarded? Facilier's appeal might not be deceptive, but his presence is definitely something spectacular. God, he's unequivocally one of Disney's most genuine characters to be ever created. He sure does share remarkable personality viciousness, greed and outrage with most Disney's villains, but he's exceptional, he's the true epitome of a villain whose plans are truly diabolical and whose style is undeniably unique. He is technically the only dynamic character of that film, aside of Mama Odie whose background is still ambiguous. Even his death scene was shocking! We're always perceived him as an obnoxiously assertive, confident and bossy person, but I guess his conspicuous humanely fear whenever he encountered his "friends on the other side" is what kept him more realistic, and kind of intensified his character. He's a solid reminiscent to Disney's most beloved classic villains like Maleficent, Scar and Frollo, and he sure does ... more

COME ON, HOW CAN THIS GUY BE SO LOW! HE WAS EPIC! I mean compared to the other Disney villains, Doctor had better songs and was really great artistically. I know he was a coward but that just made me like him even more. He was a realistic villain. Honestly, he deserves, at least, to be on the top 20! Plus he's got friends on the other side!

You could be Lawrence and almost succeed and then go to jail or you could be Naveen and turn into a frog and get EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY lucky.

I love this movie so much and he was one of the best villains. Where most villains are from made up world this doctor work his evil in New Orleans. Who ever said that the best villains had to be from a made up land are wrong. He shows that ever on Earth things aren't safe.
