The first season is actually one of the lesser violent ones, believe it or not. DP and XY weren't gory or anything but compared to them the level of violence in the first season was relativel light. In XY Ash forms a battle bond with greninja and actually gets HURT whenever greninja does when Greninja transforms. ANd the strain of greninja's newfound transformation has caused even ASH to faint MORE THAN ONCE!The DP series had animal abuse. Even moreso than the rest of the series since the whole thing basically revolves around Pokemon Battling. In the DP Series they had a cruel trainer named Paul,w ho eventually gets better as the series went on.The BW series had Team Rocket (Including Giovanni, not just Jessie, james, And Meowth) and even Team Plasma.In The AG Series, Archie basically wanted to drown the whole entire wor ld. i f I recall correctly he told his newfound Kyogre to sink the earth into the s ea. p sychopath! - HeavyDonkeyKong
