The Rapier honestly presents a side to Zelda that is never explored in the main story, how potent she can be with weapons. We saw that she had a sword in Twilight Princess, she very obviously knows how to use them, but never did. The combinations with her Light Arrows make her an extremely effective duelist, and her other abilities aren't bad either, her strong attack mechanic makes her incredibly effective overall. Now if only they would buff her in Smash Bros
