Even though I certainly think Taylor Swift is extremely overrated, I have to say Selena is hands down the most overrated female singer ever. Ha, she can't even sing AT ALL. She probably has the flattest voice I've ever heard. She's a much better actress, but even that isn't the best. Her looks are the main reason why she's so popular. She isn't talented, has no artistry or stage presence, 0 iconic videos or performances, never changes it up and is quite boring. at least Miley is a talented singer, has artistry and stage presence, has iconic videos and performances, and is creative, interesting and always changes it up. Overrated. People only like her for her looks. That's what she's famous for, and for having a relationship with JB. Her fans are typical teens who only comment on how she 'slays' because she looks good. So superficial it's ridiculous. Even in videos of her singing live (where she sounds awful) people only focus on how good she looks and not on the bloody performance instead. In today's music industry, it doesn't matter how you sound, you just have to sell records. Her fans are so brainwashed that they think she sounds good, even in her live performances. It's so sad people like her who are talentless singers get more spotlight than people who are truly talented and deserve to have their share of fame.

She is no different than any other former Disney star. I just don't see the difference. I think Demi Lovato is unique and she made a name for herself after she left Disney and even Miley Cyrus does something different (either we like it or not) but Selena is plain boring. She doesn't come out of her comfort zone and she only sings teen pop tracks. Maybe if she did something different, she would be better.
