How Trunks loves Mai so much is so romantic. Both the present and future versions of him shows great love and care for her. Present Mai is still working on her emotions since she is stuck with the memories of her past self while also now a kid who is learning at school again but we see she is childish now more than ever and is changing since she is even defying Pilaf now. Also Future Mai's loyalty and love for Future Trunks is so strong too. They're a badass couple in the future arc! The idea that these two get together in every timeline and reality is so sweet. I really hope to see more of these lovers together! Toriyama just makes random pairing in Dragonball and somehow it works!
