Darth Bane was the first unite in his being the knowledge of the dark side and the power of the dark side of the force.Also he was the most intuitive/receptive of his time to the way of the dark side, which prove his powerful and profound connection with the force.He negated a full legion of sith, just because he felt inside it self the power of the dark side. That's awesome.He knew he was right, unlike Vader, and this gives him the power to break the ice and to negate the current sith ideology.
