I play water polo and let me just say even though I this is my first year I have already almost broken 3 or 4 bones. Anything is fair game underwater and I mean anything, I've had been groped so and if you grope someone it gets you a good punch in the head. Even though all we wear is two pieces of plastic over our ears and our speedo. It is by far the most difficult sport I have ever done.

Very violent sport, I play at national level and the amount of injuries iv had due to rough play from not only boys but the girls too. Clawed and scratched... Punched and kicked, in places where it HURT'S (the nuts), also being hit in the throat makes it hard to breath and when you have great big men pushing and pulling you under it makes it so hard to play.

Water polo is a sport where your being restrained, sunk, and even drowned underneath the water. That's what the referees see. The stuff the referees don't see includes constant punching, kicking, grabbing people's groins, and even biting! Water polo is a violent, brutal sport.

People will drag you underwater by your cap strings, and if you do it to them, you can get punched without a foul being called. Anything goes underwater, as the ref cant see it. Should be #1.

Yeah I pay for my high school and last season we had a spinal injury for broken noses and I almost got blinded after a kid grabbed me by the throat add gouged my eye. I bit him hard enough to draw blood then punched him. The ref saw nothing. I had to go to the emergency room.

As a high school waterpolo player, I already find that waterpolo is a very intensive and hardcore sport. When you play the sport all you are wearing is a Speedo and a cap. Whether your on the field or in the goal, you are always at a high risk of getting a concussion and drowning.

It is a very aggressive and violent sport where you can get kicked and beaten up withought the ref realising. It may seam like the water will stop kicks but it won't. In general it is a rough sport to play!
