And yes I am one. I'm a young flier that's 4 foot 3. We work harder then any soccer football lacrosse player I know. Oh and we don't play cheerleading because it's more important. Every time we go up in the air we are risking our lives. I'm a flier and I put so much trust on my bases to keep me alive. Oh and to all those weak football players that throw 2 pound balls when we throw 100 pound girls in the air, and we actually catch ours. Ok u still don't believe cheerleading is a sport. The definition of a sport is to have fun and get exercise.

Its a little late to say we wont disrespect you because people still think cheerleading isnt a sport. It is because we do through actually people in the air. We do through ourselves in the air. And no we dont just yell out and say things. We work as a team, together as one. Also, cheerleading isnt just for girls. It is for girls and boys. The IOC declared cheerleading is a sport in December 2016. ESPN also holds a competition in Orlando, Florida every year. The best teams (levels 5 6) compete for first place. So anyone who says cheerleading isnt a sport, do some research, rethink your statement or thought, and just educate yourself. Please.
