If you thought the original was bad, then what is there to say about this? And even if you liked it, you have to ask yourself, was it REALLY as good as the original animated classic? Only if you like live-action remakes better than the originals will you like it better. But even then, maybe not, because it only loosely follows the original story of the original animated classic.
