Stefan Salvatore is my husband. I love him so much. Stefan deserved better from the very beginning of the vampire diaries. he is the cutest ever. he puts everyone else first. I hated Stefan at the beginning, he was such a sanctimonious hypocritical faker. Super annoying. But then he became the most interesting character in the show. Like I knew he was horrid beforehand, but boy oh boy this guy is the worst. Even Klaus is impressed. As a character he is a a complete mess: Am I really supposed to believe that a sadistic mass murderer is pure-hearted? But leaving aside the authors screwed up writing he is a piece of work. Lying, manipulative, self-deluded, cruel, sadistic, cold-hearted. I love sassy sadistic Stefan the most.

Although we all love Damon, Stefan always respects everyone's decisions (especially Elena's) even though he loves her to bits. He's a complex, interesting character who's been dragged through hell and back. Ridiculously selfless, he always hangs on no matter how much pain he is in. I am a HUGE Stelena shipper and I've always felt that he was the original Salvatore guy. It was an epic love and they were soul mates when Elena was human beyond doubt. I'll always wait for my Stefan Salvatore!

It's always gonna be Stefan.Honestly, I was team Damon at the beginning and Ian Somerhalder was the reason why I wanted to watch TVD.Then Stefan came and I have to admit it that Paul Wesley"s so attractive esp his iconic hero hairstyle. Stefan was so sweet, kind-hearted and hot. His love for Elena and Damon was so pure. Even as a ripper, he still had a good side in him. And Stefan deserves better ending. If only the writer could give him a chance :( Stefan is a better man, he is the right man for Elena.
