Stalin was far from being stupid. Just because guys like him did bad things doesn't make them stupid. It's almost like all the people who voted for these are trying to get self-worth out of it, because they tell themselves: "Oh I never caused the death of thousands of people like him, so I'm a good guy and therefore I'm smart and he's stupid." They just had different beliefs and having different beliefs doesn't make someone stupid. - RogerMcBaloney
