Pixar is amazing, mostly because unlike other animation studios, they take their audiences seriously, most animation studios just make dumb, goofy kids films, with 1 exception, dream works because they had Kung Fu Panda 2 and How to train your dragon 2, which also appealed to older kids and adults, but Pixar always does these kind of films, it's so easy for studios to just make silly kids movies, but Pixar always puts effort into their movies to make them enjoyable for everyone, and almost all their movies have a ton of moments that just pull at your heart strings, they are so good at making an entertaining story that kids can enjoy and leveling it out with dramatic moments, and I'll just say it, Inside Out is my favorite movie they've made, it's hilarious and really really touching, I almost cried a quite a bit of times in that movie, I hope Pixar keeps their films like this, because Pixar doesn't make kids films, they make good films that are kid-friendly.

I like Disney, I like Dreamworks, but I love Pixar.Pixar, for me, is just a master of original stories.Disney leans heavily on story adaptations especially fairy tales with some original stories here and there (like Brother Bear, Zootopia, Home on the Range, Dinosaurs, The Emperor's New Groove) that are just hit and miss.Dreamworks just doesn't have a consistent image. You just can't have any clear expectation from Dreamworks, and that is bad.Pixar however is different. Whatever they come up with will be marked with high, or at least moderate, expectations. Even Cars 2. And I don't even think that Cars 2 is that bad, especially if you compare it to the wreck that other companies have made. And that put Pixar above other else.

I know this is clich茅 but I mean come on this studio is a literal modern animation legend. I guarantee you that there's not a single animation fan that hasn't heard of Pixar or Disney (the parent company) despite their bad apples these studios are literal animation powerhouses popping out success after success. And the quality of majority of their films is timeless and something that cannot be easily replicated. I don't know how to explain this in a true analysis but do I need to? Pixar films have been nominated for best animated feature 10 times and won 8. Only three pixar films haven't been nominated since the award was created in 2001. The Good Dinosaur being one of them, and it is a terrific movie. I believe if the award was around before 2001 pixar would have won with their three release before that. Pixar has some of the best rated movie on rotten tomatoes. They are truly an incredible studio.

It was between this and Studio Ghibli, and I am still not sure if I picked the right one, they both take their audiences seriously, they both had mostly excellent movies with a few ones that weren't that great, and they both were heavily influential on the industry. I guess I chose Pixar because unlike Ghibli they still make movies, but both are the quin essentials of their styles.

Pixar has not only created some of the best animated films of all time, but some of the best films of all time. Almost all their movies, (like inside out and Wall e), has anyone with emotions crying. The movies are not silly and can appeal to all ages, not just kids. At least one of their movies will make it onto anyone's top 10 movie list, simply with their hearth warming and joyful works.
