Best coldplay album, the rest of their works is million miles away of this one. XY in 1 st position is a joke.Parachutes - Rush of Blood though the head, and it s done (the song magic of the album Magic is at that Parachutes level but its an exception in their recent work)

This is such a raw, intimate album. Sure it's not the most refined structurally and melodically like A Rush of Blood to the Head but it's a debut album of brilliance and pure emotion from Coldplay minus the fad mainstream songs that spoil later releases such as Princess of China. In my opinion every song on this album is beautiful, even the simplest of tracks like We never change.

It was back when Coldplay were more rock oriented. Their absolute best work. Every song has a heart. Every song has beautiful lyrics and heart touching sound. Their pop stuff can't beat this.

XY and viva la vida rated higher than this masterpiece? What's wrong with y'all. Sorry..this is their REAL quality album. Yellow, sparks, and trouble can END all that albums (and maybe ALL of their albums). Last great experiment is Ghost Stories. Viva la vida sucks, xy is average, mx is good, AROBTHH is 2nd masterpiece. And sorry not sorry, their last album...is trash.

In my opinion I think Coldplay is a bit overrated. I only really like their first two albums. Viva la Vida and Mylo Xyloto aren't bad, but they're not that good.
