Assassin's Creed 2 is the greatest AC game because it shows one of the greatest stories ever told and that of course is Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Ezio was probably the most humane character out of all of the others because unlike Conner or Altair he shows more compassion. This is because the main story takes place when he's 17 and not a full grown adult, he makes mistakes.He is also a ladies man, a trouble maker, and a good person to those who deserve it. During this time he gets betrayed by one of his father's friends and his two brothers Federico and Petruccio plus his father Giovanni gets hanged. Instead of leaving and getting his sister and mother out of town right away he runs and yells " I'll kill you for what you've done! ". This game is the best of all time. In my opinion assassin's creed 1, 2, and brotherhood is better than assassin's creed revelations, 3, and black flag. The reason is because the first 3 assassin's creed game follows the purpose and the role of the assassin which is being stealthy, quiet, and blending with the crowd. The last three assassin's creed games never followed the purpose of the assassins. Ezio is the best assassin's creed character ever. Altair is pretty cool. Connor is biggest moody idiot I have ever seen. I can't believe people actually like him and he is not a true assassin.

The story of Assassin's Creed 2 stood out to me the most, probably because it was basically Ezio's origin story. We seen him as he was born, watched him cause trouble as a kid, sneak into his girlfriend's window. And watched as his family was tragically murdered. We saw what drove him, and watched as he went from an angry kid, to master assassin. And of course it was the game that revealed "The Truth". It's actually one of my favorite video game stories.

Assassin's Creed 2 was the best Assassin's Creed Game in my opinion. All the locations you can go to in this game are awesome. The characters are great. The storyline is amazing, it was also one of only 3 games where I got all the achievements on. The only thing that I don't like are the Desmond missions, however, they're in all the games so it doesn't really matter. It would've been good if they put multiplayer games into this game as well.

I've played all other assassins creed games, and I think they're a great franchise but this thing- I still don't know if it's a game- is what stole the show for me. Not only that it's got the most badass yet charismatic yet handsome character of all time ezio auditore! We watch as ezio gets transformed from a young don't carish type teenager to a master badass killing machine. Who seriously doesn't like this game?

Amazing story, gorgeous cities (Firenze/Florence and Venice oohhh..), beautiful music, interesting history facts and characters. An absolute perfect game in my opinion. The best thing was to visit Venice a few years afterwards and know the majority of the city's history and buildings and say "Oh my gosh I've walked exactly here!..Or run trying to flee from guards with nasty swords."

Extreemly tough choice between Assassin's Creed 2, and Assassin's Creed 3. But I like this one just a little more. First of all, the graphics are amazing. When playing it, you actually feel like you are in Italy. Second of all, the gameplay is so much fun. Third of all, it has one of the best storylines ever. This is probably tied with Assassin's Creed 3 though. Awesome game! - Alpha101

The best ac game I've played (I played only ac1, ac2 and ac3). It took the best from ac1 and added a lot of new awesome stuff (customization, Leonardo's flying machine etc). The story is very good too and it's much more interesting and less predictable than in ac1 or ac3. And I never got bored while playing it (which happened to me in two other ac games).

Assassin creed 1 was great, but just lacked some oomph (Understandable seeming it was the first game. ) But AC2 just brought it home with the ability to change weapons and armour types and colour. Even better with the Villa upgrading and stuff. The fighting was also far smoother and carried through a bit better. (in my opinion)

By far superior than any other assassin's creed game, tops the list in my opinion. Memorable missions, lovable/attachable characters, well paced story, character development and thick historical background. This is not only the best assassin's creed game I've played but also one of the greatest games of all time.
