They look up to one of the best artists in the industry who is not only super talented and inspiring but doesn't get into all the crap other artists do and is a trend setter which just proves how smart they are. I used to be a Swiftie but then I stopped because Taylor changed to a complete jerk. She was nice when she was a teen but now she's wicked. Taylor Swift's gotta be the only artist that I hate. Same I used to love her so much when she was a teenager who sings country pop but now I don't anymore because she changed into a completely different person. She fell into the dark side. I like old Taylor better. She was much nicer and humble back then T_T. I liked her better when she sings country. Although there're few of her modern songs that I like but her as a person, nope. She has developed a severe victim mentality that has gotten out of hand and it apparently caused some of her fans to imitate that victim mentality. There's only few fans of hers I met that are actually kind and humble but the majority aren't very nice people and think that only their opinions matter. OK, I know my comment may be disliked a bit here, so here goes. I am a Taylor Swift fan, but I wouldn't call myself a Swiftie. I saw some fans of her, they were really annoying. I feel like I am one of the only sane fans here. I don't really listen to her music a lot, like maybe 3-4 times a month, so I guess I am not a fan. It just feels like most of her fan base will completely change your opinion if you don't like her music, or don't really listen to her, saying things like: " YOU DON'T LIKE HER MUSIC NOBODY LIKES YOU, or: YOU DON'T LIKE TAYLOR SWIFT?!?!?! YOU HAVE NO TASTE IN MUSIC! 1! 1! 1! " Frankly, I get the feeling that they are very close-minded when it comes to music. I listen to mostly EDM, and at other times, rock, so that's why I don't really listen to her music. It feels like the fan base will DESTROY YOU when you don't listen to the same music they do. Most tend to be Snobby and give Taylor to much conviction in her actions. I Actually Had a few list a ton of her song's and tell me " ITS NOT ABOUT A GUY LIKE OMFG. Laugh out loud 6 out of 60 Released song's isn't changing my mind. They should be Number 1.
